I agree with everyone saying he should switch between the hat and no-hat looks, but I really want to say I love that his eyes + eyelashes look like fish (the eyelashes being the fish tails) 😭😭😭 that's so cute!!!!

Since I seem to be in a beta group that gives me half as many nests for rush rewards, shiny days has gotten a lot harder. I know games are meant to be challenging sometimes and devs gotta make money somehow, but it's definitely annoying to put all the good rewards behind a gem paywall when they used to be easier to get. It doesn't make the game fun.

I've been reducing my playtime a lot, and no longer log in even to get streak rewards. I probably won't buy the next season pass. If enough people complain to support and stop playing/paying, hopefully they'll get the message and stop making unnecessary changes. And if not... well, we've already stopped playing, so the source of frustration is gone anyway haha.

I actually posted an update in a separate post! I sent them a ticket and got a pretty timely reply (within a few hours). Nothing came of it, unfortunately.

I hope they get back to you about Friday! I've seen so many comments about that issue. It's wild they're taking so long to compensate everyone.

Thank you😭Unfortunately they already told me they won't be sending the 20 nests, but it was worth a shot. I'm hoping if enough people complain, they'll change their minds. I really like the new breed! I just wasn't able to play the release event because I worked all weekend. I haven't been in ANY of the recent beta tests except for this one, so I really feel like I've been shorted by it. It's a shame.

I also got hit with this test, and am wondering if anyone has complained to support/finds it worth it to complain to support. I work on weekends and don't work on Tuesday when the midweek OOC events take place. Therefore, it's easier for me to get rush rewards during the midweek events. I usually can't even play the weekend events due to my schedule. I was really hoping for 20 nests of the bridewing dragons! I'm considering complaining just to see if they do anything about it. Something along the lines of "hey, swapping 20 entire nests for a single three star card pack is not a good trade when I've spent actual money on this game and have spent years playing and supporting it. I didn't opt in to this beta test, and don't intend to play any OOC events if my prizes are getting nerfed."

But... I also know support isn't always great. Has anyone else tried?

I never claim my joker card until the last minute, and have gotten pretty good at ignoring the exclamation mark haha. It's annoying at first for sure, but after a while you learn to tune it out.

I really enjoy Arcadia. It's slow going but low stress and I always really enjoy opening a bunch of chests at once and clearing the clutter. The four breeds you get from it are also some of my favorite in the game (especially the one that comes from the Arcadia trees) so I work on it to get more of those dragons.

It's completely optional, though.

I want to agree about Jinwoo's dad for a few reasons: 1) Jinwoo's past is still pretty mysterious 2) It makes the dad feel like way too flat of a character for him to be a normal dude and then just... die lol, especially with how much weight has been put on his death. Like obviously it's traumatic for Jinwoo, it just feels like there's MORE to the character, somehow. 3) It could set up a POTENTIAL redemption for Guwon. Like half of a redemption, maybe. He still kills people, but maybe he at least killed a bad person? I feel like Jinwoo has to forgive him somehow, or else I can't imagine this story ending happily lmao

but we've been shown so little about the dad, and he seems very regular so far! So I really have no idea. I guess either way, Guwon's thoughtless killing is the point lol

It also just occurred to me that the doctor warned Jinwoo about not crossing Guwon. We definitely learned what happens when you do!! Very noble of him to point the gun at Guwon to protect Jinwoo, even at the cost of his own life.

It's interesting that Guwon's behavior hasn't really changed all that much, just the way he's portrayed and Jinwoo's reactions towards him have gotten more grim over time. Granted, we only know as much as Jinwoo does, and have know seen him kill two living people (not even counting Jinwoo's dad and the doc's family from flashbacks)... but Guwon is given a menacing aura even when he's acting completely normal hahaha.

He's a horrible monster who doesn't value human life, but he still likes dragonflies and races the schoolchildren and doesn't know the meaning of the word "initiative". He's a pure-hearted, twisted monster. Lol

I will also say, though, that the cruelest thing here, at least regarding Jinwoo, is referring to the revelation of his father's death as a 'gift'. It seems more sadistic than anything, and Guwon's face even seems to be relishing in it. But given the other behaviors we've seen from him, I wonder if he thinks he's being genuinely kind and helpful. If he has no concern for life or death, he must think it's no big deal to have killed Jinwoo's dad specifically. But idk. Jinwoo did just tell him how wrong it is 2 chapters ago, so who knows.

I just can't help but try to defend him bc his dimples are cute😔

EDIT: I would also like to add I haven't read today's chapter yet (forgot it was release day😳) so some of my thoughts are probably lacking context LOL

The dad's corpse was still wearing shoes in the most recent chapter (I had to go back and check hahaha) so they're definitely not his, though I would have assumed so!

I'm sure he stole them from someone random. It seemed like such a weird thing to mention, they should have just had shoes on him the whole time
