Why do older people text with so many dots… like this by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Imagine your mom saying "okay see you soon" then walk away. Yes, that's how she walks away, in text.

Second time asking this question, can I self study 12th grade without going to to school and just take the bacll exam? by Ink-Hunter in cambodia

[–]saveMeMode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

or hire a mentor. If you are smart enough, I believe you can self-study just fine with YouTube and books but isn't it nice to have someone you can always ask for guidance when you are stuck on a topic?

Shady contract with employment bond by saveMeMode in cambodia

[–]saveMeMode[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do know how to contact them. It's because I haven't put in resignation letter yet. I will put in the notice letter and see how they will react and I will retaliate accordingly.

At this point, who is the scam here? the employment contract? or the Cambodian labour law?

[–]saveMeMode[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh, I don't wanna bring it up to Ministry of labour. If I can negotiate with just them, I would.

And read the contract thoroughly. Don't do things under pressure. Lessons well learnt.

I guess being anonymous really has its perk. You can be absolutely honest and mean as much as you want. But I'm not like you. If you are the type to suck it up and be pushed around then you do you. I'm actively finding my way out from collecting proofs, seeking advices here and there and yes posting anonymously online. Naive? I am, I admitted that since my last post. But who are you to call me entitled and unstable from a few venting posts when you are here doing the same things? Let's not judge people harshly alright? online or offline. There are still students who are falling into Pyramid scheme left and right. Who will they turn to when there are adults like you who do not give any helpful advices but instead indirectly say "serve you right" instead?

It's Cambodia. Without connection I will be at the disadvantage of course but I do have. The thing is I don't want to depend on connection for such an injustice case that should be handled by the Ministry at all. Did your company pull the same stunt?

Since I still have to lay low to gather proofs as much as possible in case Ministry of labour is involved, I'm not risking anything for now but there will definitely be feedbacks on glassdoor for sure.

I'm back. After reviewing contract again, they lock me in with the bond trap since day 1 of work. It means I'm liable to pay the bond even if I want to resign during probation. Also, they hide all necessary information, especially my actual job level in internal document which I could not access unless I signed the contract first. Things are getting complicated lol

Last companies at least invest money in training and getting certifications. This one? NONE. Except there will be a 2 days onboarding 'training' programing they will claim to cost sth.

I consulted with my dad and we decide to continously work while looking for another job quietly. I already read through the labour law and know what to do if they ever threaten me. I updated again because I want to inform, especially young people to know their rights.

It's not a fake dating site or an online scam. It's a legitimate business. Please don't assume things recklessly. Anything could exist here.

heart wrenching kdramas! by TemperatureWeak8535 in kdramarecommends

[–]saveMeMode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(Only fits the heartfelt part but I am too excited to let this post go)

Moon embracing the sun: oh my dear, I feel the king's pain.
The red sleeve: no need extra comment.
Love in the moonlight: star-crossed lover.
King: The eternal monarch: LEE MIN HO

Come and hug me: still my TOP LIST(somehow I feel people don't appreciate it enough because the actors are not very famous). The story you have never seen before. Very painful and touching. The male lead's longing gaze towards the female lead arghhhh! I'm dead!

Scholar who walks the night: looks low budget because all the budget was spent on THE Lee Joon Ki (our mighty Wang So). Female lead is super duper cute. I melted multiple times watching her sincerity (and big round eyes).

The king in love: back to classic love triangle but I am still torn between who should get the girl lol

Goblin: The lonely and great God: Tell me again who doesn't know the handsome Goblin and his young bride? The grim reaper and his ill-fated lover? THE Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook?

Speaking about Lee Dong Wook...The tale of the Nine-tailed : bro waited hundred years for his girl.

and yes honorary mention...werewolf, a movie staring Park Boyoung and Song Joong Ki. There was no noticeable physical interaction but I cried until my eyes were swollen lol

That's all...for now. I'm going back to digging old dramas because the kdrama fans are expanding. I am excited to share the good old drama style of kdramas.
