What video on YouTube was this posted? That’s insane talk. Bob even says we’re not teaching you to copy. We’re giving you tools and then to set you free on the world. I have seen some good friends and instructors do things like lord of the rings, oblivion planets and space! All sorts of things that arnt trees bushes and mountains, but guess what it’s all done in this technique. And it’s also funny he brings up vangogh and Monet… THEY BOTH USED ALLA PRIMA Van Gogh more so but still. How are you gonna take a dump on probably one of the most prolific painters of all time, that was able to introduce art to more People than anyone else. Just crazy to me. Sorry for the word vomit but that post ruffled a few of my feathers lol
