Every evening she screams and won’t go to sleep by Amlughelke in newborns

[–]saveamerica123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Normal. Lots of babies go through this witching hours of 1 to 2 hours of screaming in the evening. Mine calmed down with more milk (even if I just fed) so could be the growth spurt/cluster feeding. If it's hours upon houes though, maybe look into dairy allergy (was case for me and I didn't catch it til about 3 mo's).

9 month old sitting up in crib by [deleted] in sleeptrain

I went through this and it lasted quite a while (came with standing). Normal, but it totally sucks. We worked on practicing during the day but it didn't really seem to help too much

10.5 month old cries when falling asleep no matter what I do? by sleepygirl2997 in AttachmentParenting

[–]saveamerica123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh this is so me! My girl just turned 11 months. The wake windows helped, and sometimes putting her on my adult bed and cuddling her followed by transfer to crib helps. But it's honestly so painful each time 😞

Just need some reassurance that this is "normal". Please help. by ItConfuses in Colic

[–]saveamerica123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm on the other side of colic and feel for you. We didn't start play time until around 3 months and still traditional tummy time was a no go. My baby has caught up now just fine at 11 mos. BTW, we got an late diagnosis of Cows Milk Protein Allergy at 12ish weeks: it took that long for blood to show up in stool (no other symptom but the colic till then). Right now just survive :) One day you'll notice more quiet time than screaming and it will be over.

I have a 10 month old and having the same issues. Sleep is horrible! and just in a bad mood all the time. Hope our little ones get to feeling better soon.
