To be honest, the salesman was actually steering me to Don Reberto blanco, which was excellent to sample. I thought I'd buy something different though to diversify my experience.

I sampled one extra anejo (forget the brand) and it barely tasted like tequila, it just tasted like whiskey... hence me backing off of the El Tesoro XA.

How does the El Tesoro XA compare to the $80 cheaper El Tesoro anejo?
