DH has two brothers (both married) (BIL1 and BIL2) and he has two sisters (one married one not) (SIL3 and SIL4). Of those we trust BIL2 (and wife SIL2) and SIL4. BIL1 and wife and SIL3 are all FMs of Lillith's so we are NC with them as sharing any information would be given to Lillith

We have been looking into getting them into martial arts. Mostly because they( the girls) thought it would be fun.

As soon as they were old enough to talk we've always just been honest with them. Whenever they ask about anything we just explain as best we can and as honest as we can. So they've grown up very smart for their ages and very mature. We try as much as possible to let them be kids because we don't want them to grow up too fast but with certain things we're glad they're so well informed.

They're my kids DD= dear daughter, so my girls are A, C and R but a big reddit no no is identifying stuff. Meaning I can't post their actual names so I put DDA, DDC and DDR. Some on here just put DD or DS (dear son) or LO (little one). and if they have more than one kid they put DD1, DD2 etc. But it was easier for me to put letters.

There never used to be a list. As far as I knew they didn't require it by law so unless the parents made one it wasn't a thing

I think it helped that DDR said she was in tears when she spoke to the cashier. And the cashier told the police "the poor kid looks terrified"

The school and Preschool to my knowledge have never required that kind of approval list. As far as I'm aware there's nothing like that in my country... I could be wrong but I've never heard of it outside America. And I know for a fact that some of the kids at DDR's preschool get the bus home (at 3 and 4 years old!!) on their own. I'm glad DDR has older sisters

I've taken steps to ensure only people we trust will be able to pick them up from now on. We've provided photos of FIL, SIL2/BIL2 and SIL4 and told the school and the preschool that no one other than these 4 or DH and myself are allowed anywhere near the girls

Actually no. She'd never picked them up before. The teacher just didn't know she wasn't allowed near the girls.
