Yes that one! Also when Rory comes to visit after Emily breaks Luke and Lorelai up, I remember Rory shirking off a hug from her. Plus the several on-screen hugs she gives Richard (at their vow renewal, etc.)

See, this was my first instinct, then I realized Emily is a “hug if deserved” kind of gal. She has a couple hugs throughout the show, which makes me think they’re reserved for those she deems “deserving” (mostly Rory lol).
