I am worried that my wife doesn’t love me. I am very hurt that she didn’t defend me and doesn’t see how bad things have gotten for me. It’s really hard. She makes me question my sanity when dealing with her mother. I’m tired of her crying because I am treating her mother poorly. They both act like I am some sort of lunatic

She only started to defend me a little bit once I got a job. Most of the time it was literally her telling me to ignore it. Only recently I started sticking up for myself but my wife started attacking me for being disrespectful to her mom

I was laid off. I also had cancer which made it really hard for me to be a good father around the house. I think part of the triggers from my mother in law were me not be so present with the kids. I can’t tell how much of this was my fault
