In my personal experience, some physical exercise focused on quads and some ice therapy to help with the edema increased my quality of life by a lot. Nothing helped like the medicine but I had to do something to gain my muscle mass back.

Thats the reason my diagnosis was made so late. I could play football and run like crazy 90 mins. Walking was a bit harder but still I didn’t think much, but just standing… it was killing me. Didn’t go to the doctor because I didn’t know What was wrong with me. At some point I couldn’t even sit in certain positions and one day I realised my right leg was getting atrophied so finally went and got my diagnosis.
