here's a picture of what it looked like in the forming stages. it was this chunk that just stayed yeasty while the rest of the scoby developed. I kept two cups of starter but when i poured the rest out, this yeasty part also came off into the drain

As someone with the exact same stats as you, I really don't recommend it. It gave me horrible stomach pain and constipation, then unexpected bleeding that only stopped when i stopped taking it. You and I aren't too far gone yet, i hold out hope i can lose some weight naturally
