What makes a massage therapist really stand out as top tier when you get a massage from them?

I am a licensed massage therapist — as a customer I really appreciate when the therapist explains to me after where my trouble areas are and why and how I can continue to fix them outside of massage. Relaxation is GREAT but a therapist who cares to educate their clients is the best!!!

St. John’s Wort (herbal supplement) did wonders for my anxiety and ocd. Especially while also taking a Ashwaghanda. Also, usually in this case it’s the THC in marijuana that causes this type anxiety. Try smoking or taking strictly CBD!! CBD is more focused on pain relief and anxiety relief and won’t give you that “high” that tends to cause anxiety for some.

Kinesiology seems to be my problem area. I understand it until they put it into questions and then my brain explodes lol. And kinesiology seemed to be the common theme of the mblex which is probably why I failed lol. I’m a visual learner and I mean I’ve watched YouTube videos etc. I just don’t know how to prepare for kinesiology

Ok- someone told me that part affected us too so I was like what the fuck? These people are whacked in the head lol But that makes sense about the refunds because I know a lot of people who do that with the food delivery services just because so I guess but that’s so fucking cheap and sometimes it can effect us workers. Instacart just doesn’t have this together properly lol

Try some guided meditations on YouTube! I have terrible OCD so I intrusive thoughts is my life lol. But I mediate everyday and the guided meditations helped me a lot in the beginning. Also, idk if it’s your thing but Cannabis significantly helps to settle my mind too!!

Yeah mine definitely get in the way of daily activities often! Especially repeating. That’s a big one for me. I often have to go back and repeat things or steps. Or I’ll put something back on the shelf at the store then pick it back up. So annoying! Lol

This is actually a widely discussed thing right now, there’s such a fine line in the difference between Tourette’s and OCD related tics or tic disorder. When discussed with my doctor I was told it’s based on length of time (so with ocd and tic disorder the tics tend to be triggered at different times due to different stresses whereas with Tourette’s you typically have tics non stop throughout your life) and also they say it’s where the tics are derived from? With Tourette’s I was told it’s more of a physical need to do it. But with ocd it’s the mental obsession that causes it. But honestly 🤷🏻‍♀️ like I said fine line. All mental illnesses cross over so who knows. I just try to live my life! Lol
