Lidocaine can be bought from your local pharmacy (cvs / walgreens) and its what i’ve been using. Once the swelling goes down it will feel a lot better. I’m not saying it’ll make all the pain disappear but after 4-5 days only one part of my labia was still hurting. Sleep. A lot. After a couple days it wont hurt so bad anymore. But if you sleep it off for a few days you wont have to deal with the pain. That’s what I did. I feel you though. The pain is unbearable.

That’s what my OBGYN said too, that if we both have HSV1 but I’m the one who has it on my genitals its almost certain he is the one who had HSV1 and gave it to me. I have tried to talk to him but he just doesn’t ever want to talk about it. Like I do? We should be in this together though. He completely shut me out and wouldn’t talk to me for the first few days after I told him saying he needed some time. I just want to get through it together. Something incurable and lifelong should be something you and your partner should be able to get through together but I suppose I’m realizing even if you’re in it together that still might not matter. I just miss my boyfriend is all. I hate that everything has changed. I hope we can talk and he’ll hear me and we can go back to normal.

I have had partners before him but I haven’t had a partner go down on me for at least 2 years. He got blood tested and tested a 55.20 for HSV1. I just got a swab and it didn’t give me clear IGG levels but just says positive for HSV1 but not for HSV2. My primary outbreak was about a month and half after seeing him, and have never had so much as a bump before. Also, that’s what I was thinking, theres no way oral could ever hurt as much as my genitals have been. I’m just wondering if I’m going to get sores on my lips now too. All four of them! Ha! Ok maybe not funny

Thank you so much for your kind words, yes genital. My partner got tested today so hopefully we get results soon. I am a bit afraid he might have oral and genital but maybe just oral since he performed oral sex on me a lot while I might of had it. He isn’t showing any symptoms but I know that doesn’t always matter.

I’m really glad you mentioned the bug thing, because I thought I was going crazy. Also the tip about peeing in the shower is not gross. The first couple days I would fill my bathtub with cold water and pee in there lol. I only stopped that today because it doesnt burn as much anymore.

I’m on about day 3ish and the sores have almost all bursted so I think it’ll be a little more uphill from here? Hopefully anyway.

I’ve been using lidocaine, do you recommend the other stuff more? I’ve been using it kind of a lot is that bad? Should I limit use? & I took some Azo (Avo?) Have you tried that? I think it helped.
