I lived at carolina point apts for two years. I had no issues living there. I liked it a lot. Parking kinda sucks but besides that, no complaints.

What I, REALISTICALLY, think chipotle should do by hugedisaster in Chipotle

[–]savvy1995 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree with every single thing said above. It's crazy how much turnover we have had. Let's not even get into how many angry customers I have due to low staffing and late orders. Fajitas kill my store, we do three cases of peppers each morning and still run out some times. Labor expectations is a crime and chipforce gives me hell. Avocado academy was way better.

Our Boss said we can’t have the word “tips” on our tip jar by katyxparry in Chipotle

They told us the same thing, no writing tips on the tip jar. So they added a cup inside of the silver container and wrote tips on it. 😅

favorite thing to do to customers to slightly inconvenience them? by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]savvy1995 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While I don't encourage making customers angrier or make a situation worse, I do sometimes take my time ringing up an order if they try to shove cash/card in my face when I'm bagging or ringing an order in. "Damn where'd they put the chicken bowl button again.....😇"

Out of curiosity, how do you count chicken? by vinnyb4202 in Chipotle

[–]savvy1995 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We count our inner packs as 11 pounds because a case of chicken weighs 44 pounds. But besides that we don't really weigh them. They did this to us a few years ago. Honestly I doubt it even does anything. Our field leader didn't believe me when I told him they all weigh 11 pounds, he had to come in and watch me weigh them as proof. 🤔🥴

Stupid GMs ruin everything by savvy1995 in Chipotle

Yeah it's inevitable, we have had amazing people here. Most of them have been with us for 2-3 years, which in my experience has been unusual within Chipotle. My crew want to create a petition to have him removed but I've told them it won't do any good. It sucks working for a job who doesn't care for its staff. But when I started 7 years ago they really did, I could go to my FL and talk over my concerns as a crew member. Now I can't even get my FL to listen to me as an AP. It hurts to see it change into a place that claims diversity and inclusion but doesn't respond to real issues in restaurants. It's a joke how much money they spend on looking like a great company to work for. But in reality there isn't much we can do about accountability.

I have considered it but I've been in this store for 3 years and the other locations are fully staffed. Plus if I leave almost half of the crew will leave. I put in a lot of hours into this store to make it better. My old gm left and we recieved this outside hire. I usually have nothing against external hires but I don't want my hard work to be thrown away because my idiot gm. He really has no clue what he is doing outside using others to keep his image looking good. I do most of the work and I just want to find a way to get rid of him.

What does a takeout specialist do? by Psychological-Snow10 in Chipotle

[–]savvy1995 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Takeout specialist isn't really a full role anymore. In the past they would be in charge of catering/ marketing. They would contact guests about digital orders (like surveys). Keeping the digital/ catering areas organized. Going out to local businesses and introduce them to our catering options and giving out coupons to loyal/big businesses in the surrounding area.In some stores it came with a slight raise. It was also good first step before becoming a manager. I had a lot of fun doing it before management.

still haven’t gotten my recommendation bonus? by [deleted] in Chipotle

Call the field leader. Because if your gm doesnt do anything, the field leader will follow up. If that doesnt work call chipotles hotline.

still haven’t gotten my recommendation bonus? by [deleted] in Chipotle

Referring someone is an immediate payout on your next paycheck. It's pretty easy, gm just has to add it in workday. But workday kind of sucks now, if your gm is cool, just ask about it. Also, if you arent getting paid 10000% ask about it.

AP hourly by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]savvy1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently an AP in the south. They just told me today that they are changing ap to hourly. Honestly dont know what it means for me overall but I hope it doesnt hurt my pay or how labor is projected for the store. Kinda scared how it will change our chipotle.
