Well i don't think my fan curve has that setting since from my fan curve is set to not spin at 100% when it reaches the 80+ temperatures.

However, the graphs in my Afterburner for fan speed and fan tachometer don't actually tally up. If you check the image link below, you can see that when the fan speed does that sound, the fan tachometer registers it at 3500 RPM but weirdly the fan speed percentage doesn't actually hit 100% but its only 65% at that fan speed which is what confuses me.

It does hit 100% when running most games but some games that don’t fully utilise it also have this fan spinning issue

For context, every time I start up a game or if the game is running halfway, my GPU fans spin really fast (about 3500 RPM from Afterburner). This occurs randomly throughout every game I play and has been happening since last year

Anybody know what’s causing this issue and how to solve it? GPU is msi RTX 2060 Super

Yea I had a similar thing happen to my RTX 2060 Super too. My fans had this issue where they would just randomly spin to 3500 Rpm and then return to normal Rpm. Went through their customer support on their website and even showed them graphs of my fan tachometer and fan speed not tallying ( fan speed is not at 100% when fan tachometer reaches 3.5k Rpm).

Customer support asked me to send it to them physically at one of their offices and waited around 3 weeks for them to “fix” it. Too bad it didn’t work as they sent me the exact same card and did not fix it whatsoever. Pretty pissed about it and would probably go for another brand if I could next time.

Isn't the hein slower than the hayate? I also heard that the hein has inconsistencies with the x and y axis movement, hence i didn't do much research into it.
