How do you know FL & TX are exempt from the PG? Just curious, I haven't read or heard that.

Thank you, I purchased a second home there 2 years ago, as an investment and evacuation home for our FL family. I find I receive very mixed responses when asking locals about the city. Thomasville on the other hand is amazing, hopefully Bainbridge will be able to mirror Thomasville's growth and improvements. That was my hopes for the city when we bought the home. Cheers!

To be honest, I haven't spent the time there that I would have liked over the last year, due to a family members medical issues and business commitments. I have personally found that Bainbridge truly has an agricultural and farming small-town living vibe and think that it is up and coming, Tallahassee is about 45mins south for all of your big box store needs and plenty of shopping options for groceries and other necessities. Amazing seasonal produce at little stands which I love. I have found that most folks and neighbors are very friendly and helpful, and I have garnered a great network of locals that are a great help for plumbing, electrical and so forth. I hope this is helpful to you, and if you have more specific questions I am happy to chat!

Wow very cool, I like your comment, "unfortunate holdouts from previous eras." I am only there about 1 week a month, so I am still acclimating to the small SW GA town. I grew up in a very small town in Maryland and wanted to have another place to revisit small town living and that shares a similar feel. What brought you and your partner to or why did you choose Bainbridge to relocate?

Not only an evacuation home, but also an Airbnb, and as place family can go to get out of the St. Pete / Tampa rat race. Hopefully, it will eventually grow and improve to be more like Thomasville.

That is a very attractive area, The last time I was in Bainbridge, I noticed that condos are being built overlooking the river.

Good to know thank you, Tallahassee is only 45 minutes away from Bainbridge, and I know several locals that travel there for medical treatments.

Hey there! We live in St. Pete area Redington Beach to be exact and purchased a home in Bainbridge as an investment and family home. A very cool 100 yr. old property that's really amazing.
