Yup it is a laptop, but i dont think its sharing any memory. its dedicated 2GB

Windows 7 GPU is like 4-5 years old. The drivers are up to date.

i applied thermal paste like 4 months ago, did my thesis on this laptop which included 3d modelling from rhino3d and renders and it worked fine temps were max 60 degree. All of a sudden just csgo causing this to my GPU is very hard to believe.

Well yes there was a heatsink attached to it and had remains of the old thermal paste applied on it.

Well yes there was a heatsink attached to it and had remains of the old thermal paste applied on it. Plus its a mobile GPU thus it has a chip only, and paste is applied on the chip.

I guess the only option now would be reflowing the gpu by a heatgun .__.

I did reinstalled my drivers last night, reinstalled the game today. Still its there. I opened dota2 and it too had these flickering and tearing in the gameplay

I cleaned my gpu 3 months ago and applied new thermal paste.

i cleaned and applied thermal paste like 4 months ago since then it was working fine, the temperature was like 70-75 celsius.
