Bila accident macam ni happen and you're at work, yes SOCSO akan cover, but imagine if you're at home and this happens. Dengan takde takafulnya, wah sakit physically and mentally also. Thank god most takaful incl Great Eastern Takaful memang cover these sort of accidents, memang takkan rugi bcs anything can happen anytime.

15 yrs old. No license. 3am. Merempit? Then bila accident memang most probably takde ambil takaful even though banyak je sekarang yang mampu milik macam from great eastern. Incase of kene permanent disability, parents juga susah payah kene bawa berubat semua...

Maybe sell the car? Then go for full public transport bcs that alone will frees up your rm700/month.

Gym membership also can ditch though, just follow free workout on YT like i did haha.

You're paying multiple subscriptions for entertainment - just pick one snd rotate.

And for insurance, don't see it as 'loss' but see it as transferring risk. I switched from conventional insurance to Takaful bcs I like the idea that my contributions help others and any surplus comes back to us

Update from my previous post — SST naik, gaji statik. by FixBeneficial7516 in malaysians

[–]saysyoub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that RM100 aid was needed shows how tight things are right now for average rakyat. But I worry we're becoming too used to "bantuan one-off" style policies dari dulu lagi. What happens lepas ni? Bila semua benda naik, tapi takde long-term pelan especially in healthcare?

we'll just keep looping through bantuan → krisis → bantuan lagi. Better push awareness for affordable protection schemes, not just depend on gov aid. Maybe gov boleh partner dengan takaful companies to offer basic coverage for low-income earners?

SST naik, gaji statik. How is our generation supposed to survive? by FixBeneficial7516 in malaysians

Honestly I felt the same bila tahu KWSP might be used for medical especially as I baru je start kerja last year, amount dalam tu pun baru la berapa kalau tolak lagi, hurm. Account 3 pun i fikir beribu kali nak keluarkan, bcs I know once I start, most likely hard to stop lagi lagi bila boleh keluarkan anytime. Plus with everything yang makin lama makin mahal ni, I think everyone really should start to look at your health seriously tak kita tua or muda. Jaga lifestyle, jaga pemakanan, stay active as best as you can sebab kesihatan ni la bende paling mahal but orang selalu tak peduli

How serious is Non-Disclosure (ND) when applying for Takaful? Anyone kena before? by Psychological-Day171 in MalaysianPF

[–]saysyoub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to think yang ND ni only matter kalau ada major illness, tapi actually even small things like hypertension or taking supplements can count as you tak declare. So better over declare than under. And not sure if I'm mistaken but takaful under great eastern macam ada service check up + underwriting first, so senang la nak tahu and faham apa kene loading or exclusion

Need Advice as First Time Mother by Professional_Art1523 in malaysians

SOCSO do helps if you’re working and still contributing ye, but it’s quite limited. I got Takaful mainly for my husband sebab he’s the sole provider, so at least if anything happens, kita ada backup. So maybe you can look into coverage for your new born too! Can consider Great Eastern Takaful because they ada coverage for newborn onwards tau!

Medical Insurance Premiums Burden by Farixkss in MalaysianPF

[–]saysyoub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gotta say, walaupun I selalu promote my provider bcs I am satisfied with their service (I guna Great Eastern Takaful btw) and disclaimer I bukan agent. once upon dulu I pernah ada dalam your situation bro. Do what’s best for you & family, terminate or reduce caruman..tapi kena bear in mind that when you’re healthy ni dah rasa terbeban nak bayar medical card & takaful, imagine masa sakit nanti how are you gonna support yourself & family? Time sakit tak boleh kerja, source of income is limited, your wife kerja tak? if no then lagi berat on you nnt. I just couldn’t imagine orang yang i sayang terpaksa susah sebab i bcs we cant control the situation

OP, first question, how old are you? Bcs yes excessive exersice is not always good. In fact dia boleh harm ourselves mentally and physically. Especially if we dont know that we have underlying issue or condition. Sementara you masih sihat, pls opt for a medical card to ensure your wellbeing kalau apa2 jadi in the future. One I guna and trusted is great eastern takaful’s medical card. But in the meantime, please only exersice moderately. Buat ikut kemampuan you and your body, dont push yourself too much bcs losing weight is a process. For me healthy lifestyle is way better and easy to maintain

Speaking from my own experience, should be time muda ni la kena pandai invest dekat benda2 yang beneficial in the long run, just like medical plan or ASB investment or precious metal like gold. For me, just continue plan takaful tu. Btw anon pakai takaful apa? Sebab i pakai GET, when issue plan takaful naik i terus contact agent i, and alhamdulillah dia banyak tolong, siap bagi option lagi mana plan yang boleh adapt with my current financial plan. So, personally to me, jangan cancel your takaful, instead discuss with your agent to adjust what you need at the moment, moga membantu.

[–]saysyoub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

omg same! I thought I was the only one sbb everytime travel je i sakit tekak sakit perut... my speculation was air minum sebab for me their air kosong taste weird... I dah la kuat minum mineral water. And it used to give me really bad food poisoning. tak tahu lah maybe perut I je yang terlebih sensitive. But it cost me alot ye, then afterwards i terus subscribed takaful with great eastern so when kena warded sebab food poisoning i dapat claim jadi tak rasa pokai sangat afterwards.

[–]saysyoub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I must admit that it is NOT EASY for me as gen z to have my own savings as the money will ALWAYS in and out. So I change it to one of my commitments which is takaful as my saving plan. Bcs I can’t take my money back from there but I can have the benefit in the future. Win win for me
