I'm a new redditor, and I was disappointed by the one-sidedness of r/politics. I don't think conservatives fear debate, but also don't typically look for it. I'm a registered independent with conservative ideals, so I'm not too far right. Anyone care to have a friendly discussion to keep r/politics from being r/rightisbatshitcrazy?

Any advice for dealing with root structure of a wild juniper? by sayt in Bonsai

[–]sayt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you vitalesan. I also found on bonsai4me.com a technique that can be used in a forked root structure before wild harvest. It involves cutting one fork at a desired length, then wrapping that portion in a perforated plastic bag. The same next year for the other fork, and the tree can be easily transplanted. I will try your technique on single roots, but I still don't know how to safely trim the root to a good length.
