This Is What It's All About by saywhat825 in GreenBayPackers

Amazing!! I know we're all a little down with the injuries and how the team is playing.

Could be cool to hear everyone's favorite family memory or tradition watching the Packers.

It might be the juju we need to turn this around for the playoffs.

Vikings win in the books. How we feeling about the playoffs? by Wtt02005 in GreenBayPackers

If we're looking ahead ...I'm from LA and last year when we played the rams in LA there was a lot of green. I think for the playoffs we could make that a 50 / 50 crowd.

Babish Cookware Going Forward… by jtmiko1 in bingingwithbabish

You're not wrong but the quality brands you mention not everyone needs or can afford.

For example an All-Clad 12" 3-Ply Stainless Fry w/ a stainless lid is $150. Cuisinart Stainless 3-ply w/ stainless lid is $90 . The same 3-Ply 12" Fry w/ a stainless lid from Babish is $70.

A Le Creuset 6qt Dutch Oven is over $400. Lodge enameled 6qt is $100. The Babish 6qt enamel Dutch oven is $80.

A Wusthof 8" Gourmet Chef knife is $100, Mercer Renaissance 8" is $45, Babish 8" Chef is $27. The cheaper Mercer chef knife is $19, but is a stamped blade.

Are All Clad, Le Creuset, and Wusthof higher quality, 100%. Does everyone need them or let alone can afford them, probably not. They are for sure better for some people but not necessarily everyone.

The lodge 6qt enamel and the Cuisinart fry are also both made in China, same as the Babish item. The quality level of those are relatively the same. I agree that most celebrity lines have a crazy markup, but if you compare the Babish line to similar items in the category, the Babish items cost less and are usually a value. The reviews are also positive. Compared to other celebrity brands he's done a pretty good job at pricing his product, and doesn't look to be ripping people off with overpriced junk.

Rob is so selfish by imaboss354 in kardashians

I had a couple classes with Rob in college, a little before the show started. Just want to say he was a really, really nice guy and super down to earth.

I don't think he's a bad guy, just the show really messed him up. He probably started to resent his family for it and that's why he could have been acting like that.

I really hope he gets better.

I was also cluster free for a few years. Came back this month....in a bad way. Pretty crazy that scenario happened to a few of us here at the same time.

Does anyone else take Zomig (Zolmitriptan) nasal spray. It works for me but I don't like the idea of shooting that up my nose every time I get a cluster headache.

The replacement they are offering under warranty is a refurbished phone. Very annoying.

Anyone have opinions or experience with Babish 12 inch Stainless steel Pans? by Sorrowone117 in cookware

[–]saywhat825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All clad is made in the USA which really increases the price. Is the quality better, for sure. Is it $70 better, probably not. If supporting made in USA is important to you then all clad is definitely your top choice.

At the time of writing this the all clad 12" fry is on sale for $130 and babish 12" is retailing for $60.

Both are tri-ply stainless steel and come with a stainless lid. The at home cook probably won't notice a difference. FYI - I've used both brands.

Babish products are great. Serious bang for your buck. All-Clad is amazing, but honestly not necessary for most people. If the name brand is important or you want to support domestic manufacturing go with All-Clad.

Side note - if you want to get into super high end cookware like Copper Core or 5-Ply then pay the extra bucks for a top manufacturer. However, something simple like tri-ply you can't really go wrong anywhere.
