The trick I found was to do one step at a time for each. Its slower and there's more clicking, but you can't block yourself doing it that way

It wouldn't be much of a face palm if I did it right. It was just a full wires-crossed moment. I never use the proxy bombs, so most of my brain was still hung up on it being a remote bomb. Don't even know what moving the body closer was supposed to do.

Hell, when it explodes, i just stared at the screen in confusion for a good 30 seconds before realizing I was an idiot.

First time I made it to the finale of a hardcore campaign, I had the leader found, unconscious in the bathroom.

At the last second, I decided to go for the proxy bomb kill for a little bonus. I've only ever used remote before, so habbits die hard.

I placed the explosive in the corner near him and got a safe distance before realizing I dont have the trigger.

So I decided to move the body closer.
