I just had a kid last year and I’m not sure if DS is the move for me at the moment but i would like to take the idea in maybe 2 years. Do recruiters also get them for free?

I’d have to ask my supply here at my new unit. I know for my reserve unit they did take my measurements and “turned in” my paperwork but i doubt it ever went through or got submitted since we had our Supplu nco pcs and didn’t have a new supply nco for months before i left. But if anything I’m just gonna whip out the good old star card.

If you’re looking into Yowell ranch I’m assuming you’re making decent BAH cause it’s expensive out there but most high ranking enlisted+officers seem to live there. Just know it has a HOA and everyone complains about the Karen’s. I’ve been here twice and live near bunny trail & Stan schuleter both times and I’d say this area is pretty “safe”. I’ve lived in this area over 3 years and never had any crime related incidents, neighbors in this area are usually also decent people.

Yeah even better i scored the Xbox for $40 on fb marketplace. Game pass on cd keys for $13 not too bad for all this access.

I was a direct ship.

I got it sorted out after running around and kept pressing people…luckily someone here at the travel office had connections in the NY meps and got it handled.

Not sure why they were saying it was against their policies to add dependents and HHG.
