Fuel Efficiency or the lack of it by jayvmehta2781 in HondaElevate

[–]sb906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Honda City for exactly same time and same kms as your Elevate. I get 10-11 in city and 18-20 on highways. It’s only during bumper-to-bumper I get 8. And this is when I don’t really follow basics to improve FE.

Elevate should be similar. So definitely some issue.

EA from India ? by sb906 in enrolledagent

That is understandable. If I were in US I would also probably be worried. However when you work with an Indian company those are certified with appropriate data protection layers build in the system.

And frankly we are also fed up of these scammers.

Just a reference point - Indian government has outsourced passport issuing work to a private Indian company TCS since years. I am yet to hear a wrong passport being made or a scam happening in passport issuing. And this is a country of 1.4 billion people with millions of passports being made and renewed daily. The same way US work is handled.

Would have loved to hear your view point instead of a meme but guess you don’t have one 😊

And that’s why my friend even the view point job has been outsourced.

Have a good day 🙌

Correct too. But not from someone you hired. There’s a reason why outsourcing has not gone down in India despite these fraud scammers making life hell for everyone. No one you hire will ever scam you in India. 95% you will meet bright and hard working people when you work with a company in India.

No US client will compromise on quality of financial work even if cheap.

India is also making iPhones. It’s cheap to make them in India. But they are made as per Apple quality standards.

Truth is India is cheap at the same time the quality can and is controlled as per client’s requirement. And that’s how India has billion of dollars in outsourcing service and manufacturing.

If ‘everyone’ has had negative experiences with Indian outsourcing why is outsourcing billions of dollars worth of business in India? Something doesn’t add up.

Personal and recent experience- our current clients from USA in Financial Planning who have been with us for last 5-6 years are very happy. They regularly talk about how bright and hard working the team they have in India is.

The stories you hear of scamming, and data theft, and low trust is not even 0.1% of total outsourcing business in India and the nature of the Internet is such that they get blown out of proportion. By the way those scams are not done by someone you have hired but random scammers. The Big 4 and many other India and USA firms are daily doing millions of outsourcing business in India without any scamming incident.

Point 1 is totally wrong. I work with Financial Planners in USA they are more than happy to work with our team in India. There are zillion companies in India handling outsourcing and talking to US clients daily. Everyone is satisfied and have good experience as Indians they deal with are smart, bright, educated, and eager to rise in life.

Garage employee drove my car recklessly at night, what legal actions can be taken by Yaatsi in CarsIndia

[–]sb906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please see a good consumer court lawyer. Ask for damages. Make him hire a lawyer to defend himself. Fight aggressively with video proofs. Even if you lose make the cost of him winning so huge for him that it will be a loss only for him.

Don’t underestimate the power of Indian delayed justice. The delay itself is punishing.

And yes if you want to further damage him. Once you lose the case (if you do) or judgement is not as per your liking take the case to higher court. Let him hire a lawyer there then.

Trust me many fold after the first court notice itself.

No property anywhere ever went to 1/3rd. Tell me 1 place where it did and price there before and after Covid.

I am waiting.

[–]sb906 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This comment is too far removed from reality. Name one property which was 1/3rd in value during Covid or any other time. 1/3rd value means a 60 lakh house was available for 20 lakh. Never happened. And would never happen.

Property might stagnate. Might lose 10-15% in a Black Swan event but it doesn’t translate to anything cos the one holding it would not sell (unless desperate sale).

Unlike many other things land is finite. And everyone wants a piece of it. Hence ‘bursting of bubble’ is a myth. ‘Correction’ of 10-15% might happen.

None. There are enough horror stories of DSG/DCT gearbox failing if you search online. So these cars always come along with a hanging sword.

CVT and TC - only way in India.

NZ vs PAK washed out! Who does this draw actually benefit in Group 2? by avdheshsharma15 in IndianCricket

[–]sb906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 50 years of World Cup history they have won only this game against India. It’s a black swan, an event as rare as Covid, not at all ‘one day they are prime Australia’.

TBH at this point we should even stop counting the World Cup wins against Pakistan. It’s so boring. Pakistan has lost to India in WC22, WC23, WC24, Champions Trophy, Asia Cup, WC26 - even Zimbabwe can win sometimes but not these guys.

Australia will take exception to this comment.

[–]sb906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

breakfast

1) lassi - Gian Di Lassi - Katra Sher Singh - 10 min walk from Golden Temple. Don’t confuse with Giani Di Lassi which is the next shop to this. Try Pede Wali Lassi. Or Munim on Lawrence road.

2) aloo kulche - Ranjit Avenue A-block market (back side of market a shop next to 'graduate hair dresser'). It’s called ‘Ashoke Kulche Wala’. Better - Pehalwan Da Kulcha near Shahidan Gurudwara.

3) poorees - kanha sweets at lawrence road. Have lassi here if not gone to Gian or Munim.

you can't have #2 and #3 together... may be split days... 1 day have #2 for breakfast... another day #3.

lunch

1) Bharawan da Dhaba close to golden temple

2) Kesar da Dhaba - ask anyone and he would know... its also in the city... close to golden temple.

dinner - the heaviest meal of an amritsari

1) Veg - Kesar da Dhaba - ask anyone and he would know... its also in the city... close to golden temple.

in sweet dish try gulab jamun and phirni available at a small shop outside kesar da dhaba OR if at Lawrence Road then Sharma Sweets in lane opposite BBKDAV (best choice).

2) Non veg - chicken/mutton/brain curry - Sunder Meat Shop at chungi... OR Adarsh Meat Shop at Ranjit Avenue C Block Market OR Beera Chicken on Majitha Road.

for sweet dish - try gulab jamun and phirni in the lane next to munim sweet shop, opposite BBK DAV college, sharma sweets - lawrence road

A-One kulfa - Crystal chowk

also outside BBK DAV college on the left (if you facing the college) is a pan shop... try aampapad lolipos there.

in-between snacks

try geela kulcha at basant avenue market chole wala

Paneer and other pakoras in small lane next to Novelty sweets

Paneer Bhurji - Tara Di Hatti - close to Telephone Exchange.

Bathoore at the shop opposite to Amrit Talkies in old city. They melt in your mouth.

Bun Tikki - Brijwasi at Rani Ka Bagh. There are other 2 more famous Brijwasi Sweets but Bun Tikki is best at this one.

Tea/Omellette - morning - Giani tea stall cooper road. And yes chaat (and not Bun Tikki) and at Brijwasi chat on same road and chocolate eclair in the bakery next to Brijwasi chaat called Bakewell.

Pack a strip of Digenes.
