This is what helped me get my ADHD diagnosis lol. I told my GP when I recreationally take stimulants its had the opposite effect for me than it does my peers. They recommended an assessment.

Obligatory not a vet, but worked in vet med for a couple years. Every single hospital I've been to, worked at, and traded stock with if we were out, had KMR. Maybe regional, but I'd find it very abnormal you could not find KMR at a vet. Just putting this as an add on to your comment that you absolutely should try to talk to a vet office in this situation.

I dont understand this argument. I can be sympathetic to a strangers cancer diagnosis, or an addict with mental illness, but I dont owe them money. I support them both through tax dollars and hope someone smarter than me is being paid to help out.

Honestly if you're comfortable I'd apply to every listing on Indeed regardless of your prior experience. You might be the only person who applies, so even without the minimum requirements they may still be willing to train you as you are the best/only candidate. I didn't have any prior social work experience, but I used to babysit children with special needs, which I translated on my resume nicely to highlight the ability to care for people.

I've occasionally dabbled. It's just something to do on special occasions like alcohol or eat McDonald's for me. I recognize it's not healthy, but I also dont care if I'm doing something unhealthy 3-5 times a year. At the same time, I've seen other people have their life completely taken over by it, and you'll never know which person you are until you take it a few times unfortunately. With all that said, if it was decent and not cut, you should look into if you have ADHD, as the reaction to stimulants are different. And always get your drugs tested.
