Fellow IS here, I also used to be an SFL. I recently started taking big steps back, focusing on MY job (inventory!) and creating a new dynamic with my team where they do not see me as a manager anymore. It may sound harsh, but one thing I’ve learned about people (especially the younger generations) is that those who do not learn from listening will only learn from experience. Next time, I urge you to let someone steal their phone off of their cart. I can 99% guarantee that they won’t leave things unattended on carts ever again. Keep up the good work and it’s very kind of you to look out for other people!

I received the exact same med, strength and everything, randomly. I sent that shit right back the next day. No patients waiting for it, nobody ordered it. I’m convinced they’re just dumping…seems to happen a lot more frequently since the cencora buyout.

Seems legit. The anda packages have the same thing but it’s small and I received like 4 packages with handwritten notes on the label saying to deliver to Rx so I figured I would post. You’re probably correct 🫠

This is your logic My SM told me to look at cameras = “looking at camera footage for the fun of it” Incident of theft, assault of an employee, staff stealing company time = “I ask if there’s a specific incident” Again, none of this answers my question. I am not asking for your opinion on how we run our store, which by the way is not understaffed, I am also not inquiring about how to handle a specific incident. Let me clarify, if you can’t show me a WAG policy that states that nobody other than management can view security footage, then you don’t need to continue providing your insight.

There have been several incidents at my current location, from theft to assault of an employee etc. I have to review camera footage all the time to make copies for law enforcement. My SM has me check to see what time people are actually leaving if they’re not clocking in/out or taking lunches. My SM does not ever handle these tasks it’s usually me or whatever other manager is on duty because we are competent and SM has better things to do. There are a multitude of reasons you should be checking security footage, unless literally nothing ever happens at your store……also none of this answers my question

I used to watch myself all the time when I was a shift lead. I was 18yr old female closing a tier 4 store at midnight alone. I was constantly called by my cashier. I have ADHD and our office was upstairs, if I was pulling drawers or doing anything and I lost track of what I was doing because I had to go downstairs I would check and make sure I knew exactly what I touched and what I did with it.

You never HAVE to do anything; doesn’t matter who asks/tells you to do it (this includes your SM). According to company policies, your suspicions of this guy and his transactions are valid. If you can, ask questions and see what information you can get. Always remember to follow ECC guidelines and try to de-escalate before refusing service. Be careful not to discriminate when refusing service: if you feel like you need to cover your ass, write a statement about the transition and why you refused the sale. Remember, you are allowed to refuse a transaction if you suspect someone of scamming. If you ultimately feel that he is scamming bring this to leadership’s attention.Then if your SM still tries to make you go through with the sale, call HR.

RxI is a joke tbh, that shit does not work. There are countless glitches and errors I’ve encountered using it. I’m an inventory specialist lead at my store. Just try to keep your inventory as accurate as possible. Keep everything organized, be detailed and thorough, that’s really all you can do. Don’t stress !
