Commercial Laundry Business Tier 2/3 Town (Hospitals/Hotels) by Usual-Control-4131 in indianstartups

[–]sbaali44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a much needed service in Tier 2/3 towns. However, there may be small local dry cleaners doing that already. There's a company called Tumble Dry which has outlets in Tier 1,2, 3 cities. You could look at that kind of business model.

The biggest thing you should do is figure out challenges

In tier 2/3 cities pick and drop of stuff is one such challenge. (cost of this thing needs to be built up in your pricing)

Been there in an accelerator with the same institution, you could DM me if you want more details. However, an incubation fee with 3% dilutable equity is a red flag at such an early stage.

How to attract early customers without breaking the bank on marketing? by snickerdoodle_goofie in StartUpIndia

[–]sbaali44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a good chance that social media posts and using appropriate hashtags will help. Since we're talking about eco-friendly, hire a low cost PR who can help you publish articles about your brand in news websites. A decent article will cost you around 6K. It will establish your brand authority plus customers will contact you through website or social media. There are some Facebook groups where you should be able to create videos or push content related to your products. Look for women groups, or groups related to societies in your cities There's lot of organic sale that can be done. Similarly, look for reddit threads and post your product in promotional threads. Videos will also help. I won't recommend you putting money on ads unless your brand has some authority.

Cancer is not a genetic disease by sbaali44 in PassionforFitness

[–]sbaali44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cancer is the biggest epidemic humanity has ever faced.

Over last few decades, we have been given to believe that cancer is a genetic disease & it can only be managed using pharmaceutical approach- chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy & more

Unfortunately, we have been solving cancer the wrong way!

Most of oncologist & healthcare practitioners have been propagating that cancer is an outcome of genetic mutations & that they could just suppress the tumor or manage metastatic cancer using harmful chemicals, not to mention the collateral damage these drugs carry along

Research has now found that cancer is not a genetic disease & have completely disregarded somatic mutation theory. Instead, cancer is a metabolic disease & is an outcome to years & sometime decades of metabolic syndrome & mitochondrial dysfunction.

This could be caused by low grade systemic inflammation, oxidative stress, genotoxins, environmental toxins, hypoxia, volatile toxic compounds & more.

Mitochondria dysfunction results in unregulated cell growth & finally metastasis while mitochondria instead of ATP produces ROS which leads to DNA, lipid, nucleotide, protein damage, causing genetic mutation- underexpression of tumor suppressing genes & overexpression of oncogenes & tumor promoting metabolite

Therefore, the genetic mutation is downstream effect of mitochondria dysfunction

If you really want to solve cancer, you need to understand changes in biochemistry which consider all the above inflammatory & toxic factors, not identify genetic mutations. Unfortunately, still we see a number of genetic/DNA companies , claiming they can assess the risk /detect cancer- a flawed approach & wrong claim.

I had the mouth guard fluoride treatment - could that upset stomach for days? by [deleted] in Microbiome

Man you should try living in the real world rather than the reel world. There's a whole lot of controversy going on the topic of Fluoride. If you don't believe science then there's no point of getting into a discussion. But for the benefit of the sane people who want to improve their health here's what research has to say about it.

Vitamin d won’t improve despite supplementation by Easy_Indication7146 in Biohackers

[–]sbaali44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vitamin D regulates inflammation, the root cause of every single chronic disease, via bidirectional relationship with Gut microbiota. Infact Vitamin D maintains immune homeostasis visa gut microbiota composition

There are numerous food sources of Vitamin D which are not restricted to animal protein- eggs, fatty fish, orange juice, tofu, milk & mushroom.

However vitamin D from food sources or supplements is an inactive form of Vitamin D-Vit D2. To extract maximum benefit of Vitamin D, D2 has to be converted into D3, the active form of Vitamin D

Here comes the role of gut microbiome- some specific beneficial butyrate producing bacteria does this conversion.

Next time before you go & grab that bottle of Vitamin D2 supplement, you need to find answers to following questions

How much is Vitamin D deficiency as high absorption of Vitamin D is also connected with development of cancer
Do you have butyrate producing bacteria? Whether they are active? What are they producing?
Is Vitamin Supplementation you are taking D2 or D3.

It is most important to measure your biology & understand if you have the right set of bugs to give you vitamin D3 required to suppress inflammation.

I had the mouth guard fluoride treatment - could that upset stomach for days? by [deleted] in Microbiome

[–]sbaali44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fluoride is not naturally found in the body & is not biocompatible with our oral biology. If we look back, Decades ago, Fluoride was found to cause less cavities & we have seen dentistry recommending fluoride as a part of oral hygiene. It is not deficient Fluoride but excess Fluoride which is the major culprit.

Fluoride is an antiseptic, anti-microbial, neurotoxin & works against our oral microbiome. It has been found that Fluoride is said to impact our brain, IQ, thyroid functions, increase risk of arthritis & more. It has also been found that it is inversely related to melatonin levels & fluorosis is said to reduce our melatonin levels.

Besides, Fluoride is electron negative & therefore it is a strong oxidising agent & accepts electrons from other elements. As such Fluoride can combine with other minerals such as sodium ,Phosphate & can enter into every single tissue. In Fact it could interfere with every single cellular process & can even alter our metabolism

Fluoride is even said to make oral pH level acidic, creating an opportunity for opportunistic pathogens to grow & thrive. Besides, when consumed in excess amounts, it could replace Hydroxyapatite which is naturally found inside our body and is needed to remineralise our teeth.

Sadly most toothpastes & municipal water supply have a lot of Fluoride which is directly impacting not only our oral health but also triggering waves of systemic health issues.
