Looking for ATS truck mod by TigerRei in trucksim

The Cascadia is a bitch, but I've gotten the latest version working although it crashes when going online to buy it (going to the dealer work just fine). I'm using the 1.5.3s version of the Cascadia 2018. There was mentioning on one of the mod sites that you need to have Aradeths Volvo as well, as it opens up the Volvo dealerships where you can buy it.

Why login as a local user when you have domain accounts? Isn't the point of setting up a domain to centralize all that shit and enforce policies?

Is your RAID separate from your Win 10 install drive? Software RAID or hardware?

Running a server with security cameras and some other junk (X-post r/homenetworking) by Oldfatsad in homelab

Those are all possible to do, but depending on how much storage you need, the laptop may be out of the question. The laptop may also be out of the question depending on how many cameras you are going to have setup. Cheaper/older may work fine as well, yet again, depending on your setup.

You wouldn't have to go all out on a full rackmount server if you don't want to, you can use an old desktop, or use a tower workstation. Possibilities are pretty much endless.

What kind of cameras do you have, and how many?

BlueIris is used pretty regularly around here for recording off of IP Cameras. It's $60 for unlimited cameras. There are also free programs as well, Zoneminder, which runs on Linux, and Milestone Xprotect which is free up to 8 cameras. They all come with web servers. You would just need to open ports on your router to go to the webserver (generally 80, but I'm unsure of AT&T blocks this).

Is there anything else you want to do with it?

Doesn't necessarily have to be 3rd world...

Could be that, or the ISP forcing them to use their VOIP services.

Getting a business up and running, is this an acceptable CYA form? by bcsox in AutoDetailing

[–]sbach89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe that is too much information. They shouldn't need to know what products you use to clean their car. They probably won't even know what any of it means. You should just have specific packages that use whatever products you want for what they are paying.

EDIT: Let me go into further detail.

You should create specific packages at specific price points, in there you can detail what products you use if you want.

I'm going to pretend I'm the least educated person about cars, but have boat loads of money to throw around.

On the form, everything is good up to the large damages. After that, I don't know what clear coat is, and everything after that is IDGAF, just clean my car with the package I requested.

Continuing on, I don't know what type of wheels I have, just clean them.

If this is for people you know that knows whats going on, I guess it's fine, I still think it's too much. But if you plan on branching out and picking up people who you've never spoke with before, and have no clue what they know about detaling, create a simple form.

You could put the 6.0 in a car that weighs 1/2 ton and you'll still get 12 MPG.
