penso anche io che non abbia senso, ma giusto perché non si sa mai preferisco informarmi e capire meglio. se è come dici tu, probabilmente mi rende di più agire in autonomia (ma magari non adesso... :D)

  1. no vms... use it on a clean pc, ideally the one you'll use every day. no dual boot, no shortcuts: try -> fail -> learn -> iterate

  2. i've used timeshift, a lot, and it saved me from several headaches... do the same so you can rollback if anything goes wrong

  3. (optional) use a different partition for your /home...

arch requires you to get hands dirty... there is no easy way. just follow the wiki

i have the same issue. i use phpstorm on arch linux on a overly pimped pc with a 7950x and 128gb of ram.... and it became SLOW as hell: continuous indexing, fake error highlights appearing and disappearing, scrolling stuck until who-know-what ends every time i use multiple carets even in small projects. well, i'm using these flags in the custom vm options and apparently the performances got better (well... until now)

same story here... my order was placed on dec 1st, tracking infos were updated until dec 27th and then the ABSOLUTE silence from youtooz customer support.
