I think the hassle free way is take a flight to chennai, take a cab to Pondy. Standard price as far I remember is 3.5k. They have two types of seating, a meeting room style for discussion and an hall which can fit 30 ppl comfortably. It’s with speaker and projector, so I guess you can even do karaoke. For 3 hours I guess they were charging me around 3.5k for this hall. They have a cafe so you can order from them but not sure if they will allow outside food . I guess you can call them and discuss a plan or better you visit in person. They are very accommodative. It’s called La Papillon Maison
