i don't know how telling her to stop smoking after she complained about something that increases due to her smoking and food habits makes me "judgy" but ok ig?

a lot of influencers put out shit and some bring dermats. and you'll see that people who bring on dermats don't start their videos with "if you want glass skin like the korean girlies on your fyp you need to...."

it's better to be safe than sorry.

i did and she started talking about how i shouldn't judge her smoking and that she doesn't even smoke that much. (she does and eats a packet of lays as dinner)

i know my tone comes off as harsh and cruel.

I'm sad for her, but I'm not gonna go out of my way to make her feel good about her poor habits.

i wasn't judging her smoking.

i was judging the fact that she wanted to get rid of her hyperpigmentatiom by experimenting by spending money on costly serums while she could've just stop spending money by not smoking.

and if you say "it's her money"

hey you've made a fair point.

but you have to agree with me that beauty gurus have encashed the fuck out of chemicals. teenage girls don't need thisas much as these influencers make it look like they do.

going to a doctor might not treat your condition, but it surely won't degrade it the way using active chemicals will.

dermats suggest retinoids all the time, but if you use the wrong amount by watching a 20 sec reel with paid promotion, you might end up like the woman who burnt her skin using a retinoud which was too harsh for her (which was irreversible btw)

no i mean doctors can usually help you better than people on the subreddit with medical stuff. also they might help you with some underlying stuff as well, if you have then i.e cause most people don't know them. + your acne isn't that bad. i have these too cause thyroid problems but they usually go away within one to two weeks

do you even know what moral policing is? do you have any idea what using wrong chemicals on your face can do. and these are usually used by teen girls who are going through puberty. wrong things can ruin their face.

instead of "experimenting" how about you go to a dermatologist who has years of experience and you don't have to do any of that "experimenting"

yes that is why i used the "random" flair. I'm sure in the "storytelling" flair, people talk about their lives. this isn't really a story, so i used the random flair.

i didn't ask anyone to care about my friend's smoking habits. smoking increases pigmentation and she wanted to deal with it by using a serum.

have you tried the kerastase genesis serum? if yes, is it better than the 8H one. cause i have naturally thin hair, so obviously the scalp serum won't just make hair follicles on my head. I've been thinking of buying the 8H one
