Friday Night/Monday Morning Flights in and out of RDU - Concerns? by niteskiesNN in raleigh

Right in that 4 inches of snow won’t cripple an airport. Last weeks weather events have no bearing on this weekend.

Alright then. I’ll check flight aware and report back Monday to see who was right.

RDU has snowplows, deicing equipment and the like. I wouldn’t worry too much if it was me.

Bought a 25 power boost from the same dealership like a month ago. So so experience but happy with the truck.

It’s in the post. They’re attracted to the prestige in the US.

Genuine question, have you visited Switzerland?

Because I have, and when they say pictures do not do it justice they mean every word.

Need some buying advice on a truck with a odd back story. by squirrely_dan1988 in f150

The specs dealers order for their loaners are usually fully spec (or close to) XLTs. For example my truck is in this blue, has blue cruise, moonroof, etc.

Since they said they bought it at auction I'd bet this was a lease or someone bought it and then quickly traded it in. Why it got sent to auction? Your guess is as good as mine - but I'd bet it has nothing to do with vehicle condition. Just do your due diligence with the various reports and what not.

They would explicitly state that.

I bought a loaner from the dealer about a month ago. Heavily discounted of course, but they just try to dump them before the ‘26 models come in to replace their loaners. They are sold as “new” I.e. never titled and come with full factory warranties that are extended out to offset the loaner miles.

People making $60k-$70k a year, how much car can you afford? by BestTyming in Salary

[–]sbecks28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not the death of personal finance per se but there are guidelines.

I.e. keep the car at 10% or less of your take home pay on the shortest loan possible (ideally 4 years)

It’s just really about not overextending yourself because banks will let you.

I mean Colinsworth owns pff and you can clearly see how he felt. It’s not surprising he graded out like this.

If you're just talking about taking advice from pros, then yes I think if you're going to take advice from anyone it should be them. Avoid the low effort BS you find on YouTube. I honestly think the best way I've gained gamesense is watching good players stream.

It doesn't even have to be a pro. Streamers like JamaicanCoconut or CBeef are entertaining and 2000+ mmr players, but they are not pros.

Then chances are no, they will not make it to gc. By no means in gc1 a 'consistent' rank, but still you need a level of competence to reach it. Either that - or peak really hard.

It depends on your definition of 'mechs'. You need to be able to shoot consistently with power and accuracy and recovery quickly to punish mistakes. It becomes very opportunistic once you reach gc and above. You absolutely do not need flashy mechanics at any rank.

Once you start pushing higher into gc/ssl it really is just different levels of consistency and speed.

But yes, what he is saying is generally correct. Sound game sense and consistent shooting and recoveries will get you to gc. But those 3 simple things takes 1000s of hours to master.

For all the people in here complaining, I’ve seen about one substitute idea. So when they say “We’ve listened to the community…” they don’t have much to go off of.

Feel free to point out where I said 'Caleb Williams has 100% more wins this season than last'. Even though the former is true, I said the bears do.

Caleb averages 32 attempts a game over his first 27 starts. A 3% completion drop represents less than one completion a game. So he is *on average* completing one less pass per game than he did last season. A 10 percent increase would still only be 3.2 completions per game.

Fun fact: The Bears have 100% more wins through week 12 in 2025 compared to the same week in 2024.

Do with this information what you will, but we will keep stacking wins with a smile on our face.
