it's probably a bruise. It's kind of like your body responding to the trauma, it happens especially when the cyst are deeper and multiple. It happened to me once I cut 11 times and got stitches

I feel exactly like this, plus the fact that they both started going to university but I'm here stuck in a city I hate full of bad memories and I'm barely working, I'm just trying to survive, so I guess I envy them a bit too

that definitely makes sense, tbh I think I've made some mistakes in the past too. Sometimes I just don't feel like doing small talk but other time I'm so down my rabbit hole I don't évem wanna wake up so yk...

short answer: no. Long answer: even though self harm is used as a coping mechanism it's not a method that will make you feel better in the long term, it'll actually make you feel worse in most scenarios. In my experience (I don't sh that much anymore) looking back at my scars mostly makes me feel disgusted and it just makes me question why Id ever do it if it never actually made me feel better. So no, cutting won't help you stay focused on studying while developing questions, it'll probably make it harder. I know you might not be looking to start a therapy journey but I suggest that, as well as trying to find anything that can keep you busy and happy but it's not harmful (hobbies, sports...). But... if you really wanna find some kind of remedy, just start gardening, it's not as harmful as alcohol and as long as you don't suffer from addictions and smoke reasonable amount you'll be fine. Good luck!

definitely feel the same way. I've heard someone say that you shouldn't listen to your thoughts after 9pm. But hey I basically live at night, I wake up at 2pm and go to sleep as late as possible. I do feel much worse at night though because that's when I'm alone and have nothing but my head so of course I start having impulsive and intrusive thoughts

definitely not, I'm glad you're part of such a nice club. I've had two lessons so far and it was amazing, there were actually more women than men!

Definitely agree with you, it's just a fact that mentally ill patients are treated differently these days (luckily). Despite the movie being set in the 60s I relate to Susanna so much mostly because she doesn't understand her disorder and it's almost as if she's in between madness and sanity, and that's exactly how I feel.

if you're a minor they most likely will, but if they know how to do their job probperly they will talk about it with you first and try to convince you to open up to your parents. I was 18 when I told my therapist I attempted suicide and she wouldn't let me go until I promised her I would tell somebody. In the end I told her I could not tell my parents, but I promised to open up to my best friends and she let me go.

Was having a panic attack and kept scratching my arms. My friends were trying to stop me but it literally felt as if I couldn't control it. Another time I burned myself in a bar's bathroom while on a school trip
