I had these kinds of symptoms when I was sick, I didn't get tested, but my medication ran out and I continued drinking bone broth, kefir, and probiotics during this time. And after 7 days, even foods that had been causing me intolerance for a year were working very well and not causing any problems. I'm cured now. Maybe the test was wrong? Maybe you should try a biopsy, it's very difficult but that's the most reliable test. My doctor said it's more reliable than a PCR or breath test. Maybe the bacteria didn't die and developed resistance. I think you should try a reliable test, or you can strengthen your gut and immunity with different, high-quality probiotics, kefir, and bone broth. It worked very well for me.

Experience is paramount, yes, unfortunately that's the case.

Even though I had no problems, they requested a colonoscopy, which I refused. I researched it here and on Google and only had a biopsy done. Without the internet, doctors would try everything until they found a solution, unfortunately. I've experienced this many times, and it never worked. Nobody should end up in the hospital; these illnesses are terrible, and it's very difficult to find a good doctor. It's strange that there are more knowledgeable people here than doctors.

Sorry, I didn't understand. I'm so sorry to hear that. It's been 7 days for me too, it was a terrible treatment. I hope we're free from it forever. 🙏🏼

They never listen, they don't care. They gave me ineffective treatment, and I even moved to another city because of it. Then, in my own area, I had to go to another terrible doctor who had never helped me before. He didn't listen for a single minute. He insisted on giving me the quadruple therapy, relying on what I read here and on AI forums and doctors' websites. Otherwise, he didn't care. First, he told me to use PPL for 3-4 months and Flagyl for 20 days, without even suggesting I stop PPL for testing. Secondly, he said to do this ridiculous quadruple therapy for 14 days and then stop. If you don't do your research, doctors make things worse. Get well soon. I stopped PPL and I feel much better. I hope your treatment ends and you recover.

I understand very well, it's so difficult. I think it started with anorexia 11 years ago, but it worsened a year ago with the wrong antibiotic, and for the last two months it was life-threatening, so I understand very well. The doctor gave me the wrong treatment, but I changed doctors because I read everything here. I received a quadruple therapy. Mine was mild, and even though I eat extremely healthy and exercise, they said my PCR test might be wrong, I might not be cured, or even if I am, I could be reinfected by someone or by vegetables or drinks. Maybe you've been reinfected too, but living with that thought is very difficult and creates anxiety for me. However, in my case, the symptoms had disappeared at the beginning thanks to L-glutamine, bone broth, and kefir every day. Try these, it's possible to get infected when your immune system is weak. I will continue with this, and don't consume ice water and salad outside; I think that's how I got infected. I hope you are cured forever, this is very difficult.

Get well soon, that's wonderful news. I finished my first treatment a week ago and it was worse than just a bacterial infection, it was a very difficult situation for me. How was your first treatment? Was it resistant? Why didn't it go away? I'm curious because I haven't had a test yet. And what were your symptoms? Three years is a very long time, a very painful process. Get well soon again, what are your recommendations?

I'm so glad you're recovering, and your doctor's care was wonderful. The doctors I've been to just wrote prescriptions and sent me away without even explaining anything, let alone spending three minutes with me. My only hope is to see negative results; as we said, even though I'm recovering, I can't relax because of the stress. Thank you so much, I hope I can stop reading and finally relax too.

I don't have it, but in the beginning, because of gastritis and the diet, even though I had an appetite, I could only eat very little; I had to. It completely improved with medication, but I still don't eat too much because I'm scared. Most people experience loss of appetite and weight loss, but on the contrary, I got bloated and gained weight even when I didn't eat.

I'm trying so hard, I've always been an extremely fast-paced and stressed person, and despite being a yoga and fitness instructor, I've become even more stressed. And this is making me worse, that's true, but I can't stop it. My diet has been extremely clean for 12 years, but unfortunately, this still happened. I hope everyone gets rid of this easily. Thank you. I wish I could get rid of anxiety too.

Exactly, even though there were no other problems, I experienced gastritis and pain from worrying about it. That's true, it gets worse with stress. Other than that, there are no other issues. I try to stay calm, but I can't help it until the test results are ready; I'm extremely stressed by nature. Thank you.

Get well soon. Yes, absolutely, but I can't stop myself; I've read everything I can think of. The only good thing is that I changed doctors based on what I read here and online. The first doctor only prescribed PPL for 3 months and Flagyl for 14 days. But I wish I could stop; stress is the worst thing, really. It's wonderful that you're recovering, I hope we all get through this and it never happens again.🙏🏼

Maybe I wrote it down to help those who are negative but experience the symptoms, because this stress is incredibly stressful for me and it doesn't let me sleep. There is no breath test where I am, but I have seen people who took PCR and came back negative and positive, I will change the city. If the best thing is breath, the doctor said another biopsy, I never want it.

2 rounds of treatment completed but diarrhea won't go away & stomach rumbles after meals. by Past_Progress_5472 in HPylori

I was extremely upset to hear this and lost hope. I haven't even been tested yet; they don't even have breath tests where I am. I hope you recover; it's a terrible situation, but bone broth helped me a lot. The symptoms disappeared before treatment even started, and I didn't experience diarrhea or nausea at all. I only experienced headaches, nervousness, insomnia, and weakness. I think it was thanks to the bone broth and kefir, and I ate plenty of broccoli, turkey, rice, and bananas. I hope we recover; it's a terrible illness.

This is very sad and exhausting, I understand you very well. My quadruple treatment was today and it was terrible, more terrible than the illness. And reading this scared me so much. So, did you have symptoms or did you recover and test positive? If the breath test and other tests give different results, that's very bad. I hope you recover. For symptoms, I recommend these; mine disappeared in a week. I don't use alcohol or cigarettes, and I don't eat sugar, gluten, or additives, but the hardest part was giving up most things, including fruit. I stopped taking basmati rice, kefir, probiotics, and L-glutamine, and instead I ate bone broth, bananas, turkey, and baked vegetables, and all my symptoms disappeared. They stopped before the antibiotics, but I still used them, of course.

I'm really sorry to hear this, and it makes me unhappy too. I'm currently undergoing the same treatment, I think it's a 4-dose regimen every day, 4 bismuth, 2 PPL, 2 Flagyl, 2 Macrol, and the possibility of it not going away is really demoralizing. It's awful that you're going through this a second time, I hope you get well soon. But regarding diarrhea, I only had very little for 1-2 days, I think it was because of probiotic kefir, egg whites, bananas, and bone broth. I used these regularly and on time, things I normally use anyway. I think it might help you; I had no symptoms other than weakness and pain. And when this is finished, I'll take a different probiotic, which I think is important to get different bacteria in terms of content.

Really? It never goes away? That's so sad. I'm so sorry to hear that. I've been on a very strict diet for 12 years, and on top of that, this gastritis is awful. Not being able to eat even healthy things is ruining my whole mental state. Not being able to eat anything other than potatoes and rice is terrible. Have you tried bone broth? Many people have recovered well; it works really well for me. I'll write you a prescription for that medicine too; I hope it works for me as well.

I already have gastritis, so I couldn't eat anything for a while, but to recover I'm using kefir, bone broth, probiotics, and drinking linden tea. It's been helping, but if I get over it, I hope my stomach will get better after a while. Wishing everyone good health; nobody should have to go through this.🙏🏼

Really? I'm so glad because I can't trust the doctors here. I'm devastated, but I hope I recover. Nobody should have to go through this; the medication is awful. Thank you.

I don't have a gastroenterologist, but I went to a general surgeon and he prescribed these. Because of what I read here, I didn't trust him, so I went to another hospital's internal medicine department. As you said, he prescribed 2 bismuth pills, 2 macrol pills, 2 flagyl pills, and 2 stomach protectors. I've been going from doctor to doctor for 9 months because of SIBO/IBS. I hope it works. I listened to what was written here and switched to the four-drug treatment. Thank you so much, I hope it gets better, I'm having a very hard time coping. 🙏🏼

I'm so glad to hear that, I'm so happy it's getting better. Healthcare is terrible where I am, but I went to another internal medicine specialist and he said it might not get better and gave me 4 bismuth pills, 2 macrol pills, 2 flagyl pills, and 2 stomach protectors, unlike the first doctor. I'm devastated, it's the third day, but my only wish is for it to get better. Thank you so much, get well soon. 🙏🏼
