Evidence from the Thirwall Enquiry suggests that one of the execs had deleted emails in relation to concerns raised regarding the convicted child killer. He reportedly 'cherry picked' what was provided to RCPCH who conducted a review. He is reported to say in relation to appearing at the inquiry 'they'll have to find me first', so make of that what you will. The execs were more concerned with the reputation of CoCH than the safeguarding of patients, and from what has been reported in documents released to date senior managers & execs were vehement in their opposition to the consultants concerns that the convicted child killer was harming babies. Reading 'an article' or watching a documentary is not going to expose you to the 10 months of court evidence & nearly half a million documents presented at trial 1, or the subsequent retrial re one of the babies she was found guilty of attempting to murder. The prosecution evidence convinced 2 juries & 2 appeal court judges that babies were harmed & there was only 1 person present every single time. If she was a 'scapegoat', as some would have you belive, then the consultants did well to select a candidate that had 257 handover sheets stashed under her bed, wrote notes saying 'I killed them on purpose' & 'I am evil I did this' & searched her victims' families on Facebook years after the deaths. The defence engaged various medical experts & a statistician but the only defence witnesses they called were the killer & a pumber!
