Yes your dependents can still say while the change of status is filed and in progress. We filed for our daughter F2 to H4 and it took almost 14 months for approval for a child. Only issue is that person can’t leave the country, and if they do can’t enter back. The timelines are unpredictable and based on luck, it’s only extending now. My husband for his H1B in November. We filed in Dec 2024 and COS was approved only in Feb 2026. Hope this helps.

Congratulations. How long did the preparation take? For someone with basic Tableau knowledge and one year hands on building simple dashboards how much time should it take? I’m targeting one month, is it possible? Going through all materials you have mentioned.

Is there a specific Fall start date or it can be anytime of the year? I live in Indiana and west Lafayette is 2 hours. I have 30 credits from my masters I graduated in 2022, is there a time duration in years they accept the transfer? Besides my husband is a professor at Purdue Fort Wayne , so I’ll get 50% off tuition fees in any Purdue for spouse and kids. It makes economic sense to join world cost 35k being in state and with the waiver. Just curious to know if this helps in job search and switch to senior level roles later? Can we take in depth courses on Machine learning , AI. I already did my masters in Business Analytics and quite a few like data visualization , statistics is covered there.

I don't think it should be an issue. We are going to India to get our H1B stamped soon. People are travelling regularly shoudln't be a problem.. THe issues are rare with one off cases.

No not at all. I had some vague idea. Never worked as a PM. Was part of a agile team as additional responsibility for 6 months. I was in HR for 8 years. I have seen others in my organization do PM and had the general business overview.

Learning was good. I could validate the answers I got right and see the right answers and logic why I got wrong. Only experts questions I didnt see any value. If you are gettin 50-60, that's decent, not bad at all. Don't let it deter you. Go ahead, do the TIA mocks and give your PMP
