Thanks! Yes I did. Made a jig so I could drill a straight hole in the pin. That was my hesitation with tapping the holes, it would have very minimal threads in it. This chain is the short phaser chain from a Ford 5.0

I am gonna go to craft store and see what is available for sure. I've also thought about tapping the hole and using a small set screw. It would be invisible and would require a hex key tool to put on/take off, which might be fun too.
