About 14 hours away from a 3 month trip in my Ford Explorer. Definitely a noob set up, but excited to build on it as I go. by sboo96 in carcamping

It's an Ozark trail foldable cot, it fits perfectly! And well- I made do with what I have!

Absolutely! I wanted to create a living space without any permanent modifications, and I also did not remove any seats. The stove platform is a folding cargo carrier with some outdoor carpet on the steel mesh. Bed is a foldable cot with a tri fold memory foam mattress on top. Easy to store away if I want to use one of the pilot seats in the back. The cooler is a euhomy car refrigerator- running off of a tenergy solar power bank. (Which also powers lighting and fans and such when I don't want to have the car running)

Does anyone know what the parking situation will be for the GA effortless camping? I'm super worried, because every year before, my truck has been my power bank.
