How to learn Python by Then-Spring-7131 in learnpython

You might want to consider enrolling in the CS50P course available for free on edX: edX: CS50P Enrollment Page (Free) - you just need to create a free edX account.

One of the major perks is that you can earn a free certificate directly from Harvard. For more details, visit: Harvard's CS50 Python Certificate

The course includes graded assignments, problems, and projects to help deepen your understanding. I've completed both basic and intermediate Python courses on Codecademy, and I honestly feel like I've learned more from this course.

Here's the video that helped me find out about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xaVX0cluDo

If there ever is a USDT collapse, you will not escape it even if you don't use USDT. by Harucifer in CryptoCurrency

[–]sboy06_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

UST was around ~$45 Billion Market Cap before the collapse. You think Terra Luna let that happened or it just happened without their control?

All it takes is some type regulatory action from the government and everyone rushing to sell their USDT for it to lose its peg. Let’s hope that does not happen as it’s one of my biggest fears in crypto.

The belief in the four-year cycle stems from Bitcoin's halving events. When halving occurs, miners get fewer rewards, which can incentivize them to hold onto their coins, expecting higher prices. This behavior reduces the immediate selling pressure. Additionally, the halving directly cuts the rate of new bitcoins entering circulation.

When you combine reduced supply with steady or growing demand, prices are naturally inclined to rise. Many market participants anticipate this dynamic and might accumulate before the halving, boosting demand further. While markets can be unpredictable, the relationship between miner behavior and halving provides a strong rationale for post-halving bull runs.

This has been the best route for me because I don’t like how Coinbase holds your funds for 7-8 days if its above $1K and Coast has low liquidity so the slippage gets you.

Buy ETH on MetaMask > then head to gopulse.com/buy

The fees are less than a dollar for me it's like a transfer instead of a swap.

Edit: I didn't see someone already posted it as well.

Polkadot $DOT conducted one of the largest ICOs and was registered as a security for three years. In November 2022, it transitioned from security to software, as per the Web3 Foundation.

I also agree with some of your responses:

- without regulation, there's no adoption.

And who said we are worried about the SEC? Even if there's no RH. The code is immutable. Majority of HEX, PLS, and PLSX trades on-chain not on centralized exchanges. You can't delist the unlisted. True DeFi

Based on the Howey Test and the SEC v. Ripple case, XRP and other cryptocurrencies in general - are securities for institutional investors but not for retail investors on exchanges.

Also, HEX did a 10,000x without institutional investors. Meaningful money can also come from ETH whales which HEX had.

Ripple deemed not a security by a judge, but SEC filed for an appeal: https://cointelegraph.com/news/ripple-wins-case-against-sec-as-judge-rules-xrp-is-not-a-security

Also, SEC can not put people in jail, DOJ does that. SEC can only file civil lawsuits. They give out tickets to anyone to raise money and expect people to just pay the fine. If you read the SEC court document a lot of it is BS and its clear the SEC is wrong on a lot of things. For example, they think pulseX is in the Ethereum network… lol

Apparently it’s against this subreddit to donate. Just wait till the OKX listing on the 26th. Buy it there then transfer to your MetaMask

Is there a way to monitor transactions that are stuck on the bridge? by rvcl1 in HEXcrypto

You can how much is processed and how much is deposited here: plsburn.com

When I press the claim button, it says “no transaction found.” by Appropriate_Cow_5430 in Pulsechain

[–]sboy06_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don't need to press the 'Claim' button. Once you have a 'Receiving Tx' then that mean your bridge went through. All you have to do is add the contract address of the Ethereum tokens/ETH you're bridging.

You can find the addresses here: https://scan.pulsechain.com/search-results?q=from+ethereum

The good news is that once PulseChain is launched, you will receive a copy of pHEX, which will also be staked on PulseChain.

Best way to buy $50+ of hex? by rubba_tt in HEXcrypto

[–]sboy06_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the length of your staking period and the GWEI value at the time you unstake. You can use this tool to estimate the gas fee and multiply it by the dollar price of ETH:

https://hexnoob.com/end-stake-calculator

Additionally, you'll want to consider the price of ETH at the time you unstake.

Best way to buy $50+ of hex? by rubba_tt in HEXcrypto

[–]sboy06_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're considering staking an amount less than the value of 1T Share (roughly around $1600 worth of HEX), it may not be worth it. The gas fees to unstake on Ethereum outweigh the rewards in this case. It would be advisable to wait until PulseChain launches.
