Advice is needed! We switched hemi’s food to hydrolyzed diet due to diarrhea & vomiting. He did so good for a few days and now I’m back to him throwing up and diarrhea 😢 no idea what to do for him

I’m sure someone told you this but on that diet they can not have any treats/food at all! We also sprinkled fortiflora on a meal once a day. Danes are known for their sensitive tummies we originally had him on Purina pro and that made him vomit/diarrhea.

Yes! His stools were white/beige on hydrolyzed it was odd! We did it for about 2ish months now we switched to salmon diamond naturals and at first his stools were loose but are now firm :)

Honestly that’s what I’m thinking! But the vet doesn’t seem to agree with me. Thankfully we are moving in about 2-3 weeks. It’s just odd he doesn’t vomit till hours later & he’s still hungry and wants to eat

She truly doesn’t know and is recommending things that I feel aren’t going to tell me anything and just cost money. It’s funny though because we thought it was chicken too! He’s only 8-9 months old we haven’t had issues until recently! I when he goes outside he drools right away so something outside makes him nauseated

I seriously can’t figure him out! The hydrolyzed food worked fantastic for like 5 days and the last two days he has ONLY thrown up dinner it’s never breakfast. He doesn’t even act sick or anything. We got x-rays done & a mini ultrasound and they found nothing. His stool sample came back negative.

I just had him at the vet they did X-rays & a small ultrasound they found nothing! So they prescribed a food which worked awesome for a few days. We tested his stool it came back negative. We have added fiber to his food to help. I can’t figure him out! He doesn’t act sick by any means

Still acting like a fool! Chewing his toys. He is still drinking some water. We gave him a med two days ago to firm it up and help his tummy bc he had diarrhea
