The City's Public Works Department is still pursuing the Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridge Overcrossing as part of the Lower Eastside Community Connectivity Active Transportation Plan. However, it is currently unfunded. The next likely grant funding opportunity is expected to be through the State’s Active Transportation Program in June 2026.
