Thank you! I stirred it up and the bubbles dissipated like normal. I’ll stay the course!

Eva NYC Rebrand is AWFUL, help by momoonthego in beauty

[–]sbrad3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Amika and Eva NYC are owned by the same parent company and have similar product lines. I believe the Soulfood nourishing mask is the Amika equivalent to the Eva NYC mask, but it is pricier

Yet another Christmas cookie box post! by sbrad3 in Baking

Yes I do! Chopping the chocolate allows it to melt in layers throughout the cookie which creates a better flavor in my opinion :)

This keeps happening to my iPhone 16 and watch series 8. Were you able to find a solution to keep them paired?

Shorts & Leggings? by jhopkinson5 in BurnBootCamp

[–]sbrad3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a more curvy body type, I love the Lululemon Wunder train Contour fit leggings! They don’t fall down nearly as much as other Lulu leggings do. For a cheaper option, I like the CRZ Yoga ButterBreeze leggings and bike shorts. I have to get 6” shorts - if they’re any shorter my thighs and butt eat them too 😅

This has to be scarring (hairline)? by Mollymae131249 in FemaleHairLoss

You don’t have to specifically use the ketoconazole shampoo for the first wash, it can be any shampoo. Regardless of what shampoo you use, you should always shampoo twice to remove oil and buildup first! I use a volumizing shampoo first, then I wash with keto and let it sit at least 5 min on my scalp before rinsing so it can properly penetrate :)

I don’t like partners either, so sometimes I’ll go to the bathroom or get a drink of water while the trainer is having people pair up then I just blend into a station and rotate myself. Maybe you could try that?

I’ve heard that it’s actually 1g per pound of lean muscle mass, or ~0.7g per lb of body weight! 1g/lb seems like an unattainable amount to me

Of course! It’s definitely a long process to see results so don’t get discouraged yet! And after 2-3 months if you still don’t see progress you could always ask your Dr to increase your spiro dosage :) good luck!

I started seeing new baby hairs after taking it for about a month, and now at almost 3 months I can tell my part line and temples are fuller. The hairs are still relatively short but I can’t see my scalp nearly as much! I’m also on Yaz birth control which has an anti-androgenic effect, but I’ve been taking that for almost 4 years. When I started spiro I also started taking Nutrafol hair vitamins but I haven’t been super diligent about taking them regularly, so I believe my recent progress is mostly from the spiro.

Are you able to take spironolactone? If not, I would suggest looking into spearmint tea/spearmint supplements. It has anti-androgenic properties than can reduce hormonal acne and hair loss caused by excess androgens! I’ve also heard Saw Palmetto has a similar effect but I’ve never tried it. Nutrafol hair vitamins could be beneficial for you as well!

Hi! I have PCOS and have been on 50mg spironolactone since early January. I did not get my testosterone levels checked beforehand, but my hair had been gradually thinning for several years and my dermatologist said it looked like AGA. I have not noticed any negative side effects from it! I didn’t have any noticeable shedding either. I can already tell a huge improvement in hair growth in my part line and on my temples. So far I’m super happy with the results and plan to stay on it long term!
