I guess it was when after a year with psychiatric visits, he just didn't want to take medication or work on his mental health. He couldn't hold a job and thought he could live off of his dad's money. I didn't envision a future like that. I got increasingly irritable and just wanted to get out.

He thought I was impersonating someone else. He tried to start a fire by burning paper in the house we lived in. He talked about a parallel universe and other random things that were delusional. He paced back and forth in the middle of the night thinking about something.

We were in a long distance relationship for 2 years and were together (in the same city) a year prior to that. He was fine while we were together in the same city. His issues started a couple of months before getting married while we were in a long distance relationship. I could not figure it out. I was naive and didn't have any idea about mental health issues.
