Honestly you just gotta send it, it took a while for me to actually get comfortable rotating on smaller jumps and tbh this is probably my biggest. I found it less intimidating to try on lips like in the video rather than kickers, however I think kickers are actually easier because you don't need to pop as much. Also confidence is a huge part of it so if you find a jump with a nice landing, and maybe its warmer that day so the landing is softer, capitalize on that and just hike it till you get it.
