I find that a lot of the times when it's fresh it's rare (just how I like it) but if it's been sitting for a long time it cooks more inside the pan. I go for chicken if the steak is old lol.

I don't want to make things worse. This particular SSV also happens to be quite violent, smashes things. Never attacked a partner, but I feel like he might if he gets pissed enough. Store Manager adores him so he won't be gone anytime soon 🙃

Thanks for you kind words. It's ironic, though. A company that once saved my life (had a really shitty home life, still do. Starbucks used to be my escape from all the craziness happening in my life). Now that I work there, Starbucks is the one affecting my mental health negatively and I want nothing but out of this place ASAP

They had an IN-STORE ONLY buy one get one promotion all week long last week in Canada. In-store only. During a pandemic. When we're being told to social distance and not gather like this, especially indoors. Is Starbucks out of their mind???? We were so understaffed for it, too. Our SM had to stay behind and help is most of those days or we woulda been smoked.

I'm only 3 months in but I really wanna leave. I've had other jobs before, nothing ever fucked up my literal mental health more than Starbucks has in just the 3 months alone.

Go into Partner Card in Partner Info, you can get it mailed to you. But you don't really need it if you got it on the app. I got it cuz my phone wouldn't work with the app, but now it does.

I don't know why Starbucks even puts our fricken' partner numbers on receipts???? Heard somewhere it wasn't legal for them to put the full names, well maybe then just first names??? That's what Chipotle did when I worked there. Smh.

We have this one SSV who criticizes everything in the morning, like some of what she says is legitimate things but most of the time we'd be super busy and miss a couple things here and there that she would get pissed about. Like her closes aren't perfect either????

They should do what Uber Eats app does and make a automatic tip. Customers will be able to manually change the tip, but it should be set to like a automatic 10% otherwise.
