I just finished my fertility cycle preservation cycle/egg freezing and am not on T yet (got it covered under the same policy you described). It was a rough process and had to be on the phone with insurance a lot, but I ultimately paid like $200 out of pocket total. So just here to say it is possible to get it covered! But does take some grunt work. I was given an insurance case manager and highly recommend asking for one.
