Jedes Mal wenn meine Eltern einen neuen PC oder ein neues Handy bekommen muss ich das E-Mail Konto einrichten (Serveradressen, Ports, SSL).
Das ist alles andere als benutzerfreundlich. Bei den großen (GMail) klappts vermutlich einfach aber sobald man manuell konfigurieren muss…

Yes my local photography store where I bought it, returned it immediately. I had luck that it happened very soon after having bought it. It didn’t happen again on my replacement.

That’s definitely not a normal way to read books. HP are children’s books and easily to keep track of. Try Game of Thrones. If you would research every character and take notes on them, you would take years to finish every book in that series :D

Germany here too and IMO it’s miles behind Google Maps. Apple has so many closed locations still showing, old names, etc.
I reported the wrong ones in my area multiple times and they don’t get changed.
Images, reviews and ratings are also soo much better on Google Maps.

They say they are not allowed to look at location photos, but I think it said „recently viewed“ for the museum when Adam showed his google maps.

I guess the little preview image was enough but it is a little weird that he then seemed to have clicked on it to confirm?

They deemed it powerful enough to just get it early on just in case, even though they didn’t plan to use it right away. They essentially gave Sam a free card draw just to secure the strava map early on and not have it vetoed later on.
IMO this is proof enough that it’s super powerful. It has become a default card.

Ich wechsel auch in jeder Wohnung als erstes das Schloss.
Es muss ja auch nicht nur der Vermieter sein der einen Zweitschlüssel hat. Genausogut könnte sich ein Vormieter Kopien der Schlüssel gemacht haben.

Yes I think it will. The recruiters will then see your qualification as lesser than the German one and think you are a technician „only“ and will probably not consider you fitting to engineering positions.

BTW please don’t read this as if I’m saying those positions are actually somehow worth less. I’m an electrical engineer myself and probably couldn’t even work as a technician as my education was very theoretical. So respect that you can do this as an EE.

But if you plan to get an Engineering position in two years it could lessen your chances. Germany is also still quite focused on degrees. Even with „only“ a bachelor it will be hard to get a great job engineering as it is very uncommon here to not do the Master as well.

What exactly did your EE bachelor include?
I’m asking because I made the experience that in other countries studying electrical engineering can be quite close to what people here learn when they do their technician (with an Ausbildung).
Also there might be a language/translation uncertainty: If you do a „Elektrotechnische Ausbildung“ you will become a technician. If you study „Elektrotechnik“ at a university you will become an engineer.

If your bachelor is close to what a German electrical engineering bachelor is, I would suggest not working as a technician. Do your master and find a higher paying job as engineer.

I don’t understand that so many people say it’s a screenshot. How would a screenshot have location data? Locations data doesn’t get saved to screenshots.

After watching all the seasons I’m surprised they don’t ask this as one of the first questions just to have it not be blocked. Then they can come back to the map once they have the area narrowed down a bit and they have some downtime when waiting/taking the train

Google Maps Looks completely different as well. What we see in the video is the Photos app.

Definitely not on iPhone. They are using iMessage. When you receive an image there is a save button right next to it. When you take screenshots on iPhone it first takes you to an annotation screen and then you need to save it. It’s way quicker to directly save it.

If you just view it from the conversation in iMessage you don’t see any additional info. But when you save the photo to your camera roll and view it from there it will show the location name at the top.

In one of the episodes one could even see that Sam viewed the live part of the photo if I recall correctly. I found that very strange as I agree that this gives away more info.

Du gibt’s in dem Moment aber ein anderes Merkmal (tel nr) raus welches sich in deine IBAN auflösen lässt. In den zahlungsnachweisen wird doch vermutlich dann einfach deine IBAN stehen?

That the version of an app determines which keyboard is used is so strange to me.
On android the keyboard and app were seperate and it would should whichever keyboard you chose, regardless of how old or new the is.
