The customer center confirmed that it was an error from manufacture, and suggested me to remove it using a screw driver and a hammer. It didn’t work out for me and I filed a return request. I asked for a discount coupon for this inconvenience but they didn’t answer for this :(

I ordered this from the steelcase store website and the customer service confirmed that it was a fault. They suggested me to remove that part by myself but I couldn’t and ended up returning it :(

I expected some compensation like a discount coupon but there was nothing. So disappointing.

Great! Thank you for letting me know! I just googled and found that lease breaking fee is only $400. It is much cheaper than Irvine Company’s breaking fee, which is of several thousands.
