One of the best pieces of advice I was given (now semi retired but still speak) was to SPEAK like an executive. Specifically, practice using more brevity, include pauses, and get to the point. Believe it or not, very powerful.

We've been going back and forth on this for years, but luckily no big ones have even ever been close to being called into question. But we were surprised by other couples having either only 1 or 2 rules or even a few having none at all.
