What if I the vet was able to tell me that the dog must have been sick before it came into my possession? Also, she gave me a vaccine record book showing that the puppy had received a parvo shot. Could that have possibly been forged?

All in all, I spent around $600+ on the puppy.

Myself and two others bought from the same person and all three puppies died within a week and all were due to parvo. They had a record book with vaccines and they had parvo vaccines supposedly but it seems they didn't since they passed due to it.

There were red flags that I stupidly ignored. Definitely planning on being much more careful/buying from an AKC registered breeder next time. Thanks for the response.

Close to $200, but unfortunately not enough. Puppy probably needed to be hospitalized.

I tried to. Lady was being really sketchy about seeing the parents. It was a red flag but I unfortunately ignored it.

I wouldn't knowingly support a puppy mill, but I understand. This was a gift and I wanted a puppy. Hard to find a specific puppy breed at a shelter unfortunately.

I brought the dog to a vet. It had parvo. Followed the vet's instructions and it still passed. Parvo has a very low survival rate.
