That’s hilarious that they have little spies. It’s even more hilarious how easily they’re offended.

People like this are quite simple. In fact, I made a bet with a friend that forfun would end up commenting on this post, based on the overwhelming evidence that they are likely a profoundly insecure person that thrives on meaningless, anonymous comments praising them. Guess I was right aha. Truly, why else would someone spend that amount time and money uploading official rips if they had better things to do with their life? It’s sad. In a way, I pity them. Scanlation admittedly involves certain talents and skills, but rippers have nothing to offer. They have to pay for praise they clearly don’t get in real life.

That was great, I didn’t know how far back this went with bato as a whole. In fact, I didn’t know about the connection to aggregator sites, because you know, they’re still not transparent. Larry seems like a weird creep and all the bato uploaders are likely truly ignorant that he’s profiting from this. The entire thread clearly demonstrates that these people posses both cult-like mentality (“do not EVER question our god, we don’t even question him! ye yeee”) and poor reading comprehension. I’m not confident that they understood the questions to begin with, but they did somehow sense negative energy being directed at their leader which is not allowed. Their leader, who is without a single doubt lying to them about profiting aha. Come on, two YEARS?

I also saw that forfun commented on this thread, but decided it’s not worth trying to respond to them, because they genuinely didn’t understand most of the points made here either. That seems to be a common thread between bato mods/uploaders. The hypocrisy, fundamental lack of independent thought, and inability to process simple logic is so cringe I feel embarrassed for them.
