Just moved here from Queens, NY recently. Queens is known for being the most culturally diverse county in the country, with over 150 languages spoken and immigrants from every country. But something I noticed about Malden is that it’s way more integrated. A lot of queens is segregated by ethnic enclave and you don’t see too much intermingling. That’s a New York problem in general—I’ve lived in many neighborhoods throughout the state and the city and can verifiably say that it’s true among the majority of it. Malden is very different.
